This is a Bloody Mary (it's technically a Caesar because of the clam juice) that will make you famous. Or at least, a legend in your own mind.
4 1/2 oz Clamato Juice (or a 2:1 mixure of tomato:clam juice)
1 1/2 oz your favorite gin
1 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp Tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp Lea and Perrin's Worchestershire sauce
1 drop Beano's Horseradish sauce
Juice of 1/4 lime
Combine all ingredients and shake vigorously. Pour into a Collins or highball glass, and garnish with a deli pickle spear (don't you dare use a dill), rind of the squeezed lime, and leafy celery heart, and a couple of queen olives.

A Long Way Home
Most bar Long Island Iced Teas are made with a mix of bottom-shelf liquors and sour mix. This one is not.
1/2 oz Tanqueray Gin
1/2 oz Cointreau Orange Liqueuer
1/2 oz 1800 Silver Tequila
1/2 oz Bacardi Superior Rum
1/2 oz Absolut Citron Vodka
1/2 oz filtered water
1 Lemon
3 tsp sugar
Coca-Cola, Royal Crown, or other cola with a sweet aftertaste
Fill a shaker with fresh cracked ice and add all alcohols, water, and sugar. Cut lemon in half; squeeze one half into the shaker. Shake vigorously and strain into ice-filled glass. Top with Coca-cola or RC until it is the color of traditional iced tea. Cut the remaining lemon half in half and garnish drink.

Lemon Rickey
Out of limes tonight, I decided to start mixing something new. I at least had some other key ingredients.
Lemon Rickey
1 1/2 oz Bombay Sapphire Gin
1/2 oz Cointreau orange liqueur
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tsp sugar
club soda
Squeeze a lemon into a highball glass filled with ice. Add the sugar, gin, and Cointreau. Top off with club soda and stir.

Gin Rickey
After bustling around a bit today, I was tired and needed a cool, refreshing drink. Yes, I said cool, refreshing drink in December.
The Gin Rickey is that drink. It is the most refreshing drink on the planet, next to water. Its a very simple drink, and one that can be made in just a few moments.
Gin Rickey
1 1/2 oz Gin
1/2 Lime
1 tsp suguar
Club Soda
In a highball glass, drop in a few ice cubes. Squeeze in one half a lime, and drop the squeezed lime rind in. Add the sugar and Gin, and fill the glass to the top with club soda. Umbrellas optional.
Good to go.
